Burrawang Dorper Course

Jo and I were lucky enough to attend the August 2011 Dorper course run by South African Dorper Judge and Inspector, Wicus Cronje. Held at Burrawang Station near Condoblin, NSW, the home of Graham and Jana Pickles, our delightful hosts made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

What a great time we had!  Impressive facilities, wonderful food and with such a friendly group of people taking the courses, the week was more like a holiday than a learning excercise. We were delighted that we both passed, with Jo taking her first Junior and this my second Senior course. I have taken courses taught by Rodney Rainer, John Dell and now Wicus Cronje, and at each have learned a lot and come away more enthusiastic than ever about Dorpers. If you get the opportunity and you're serious about breeding good Dorpers, I thoroughly recommend attending one of these courses.
