Tasmanian Dorper Expo & Sale
The Expo was an initiative of Brocburn Dorper Stud and was a great success with over 200 people attending. Four invited speakers held the interest of the audience at the morning forum.

Mr Ken Butcher, Bushveld White Dorpers
Mr Ken Butcher of Bushveld White Dorpers, NSW, held the crowd captive with an information session prior to the commencement of the sale, outlining the points to look for in selecting Dorpers and White Dorpers. Brocburn and Vaz Valley studs supplied a selection of Dorpers and White Dorpers for this demonstration.

Brocburn Dorper stud had the top priced Dorper ram and ewe of the sale forĀ $1320 (Brocburn 09022) and $1160 (Brocburn 09042) respectively. Brocburn purebred commercial ewes sold for $620.
